Yeah, this doesn't make any sense. You had the gland removed, correct?

Poor Lily. When you take her back to the vet, bring the before and after pictures, and show him. There doesn't seem to be any difference in the eye. Did they tuck it in, or did they remove the gland?

They should remove the gland -as tuck failed, they said they cant touch the other eye (with tiny bit of gland showing) as they might damage the eye when they start digging
From what i know apparently "they removed as much as they could " - but when i pull lilys bottom eyelid down i can see a big swealing with something in it -i assume its the cherry
Also dr. Said that she got large 3-rd eyelid -it just dont add up!
Sorry for what i say now but they f%#¥€d her eyes , made them droopy and now the bloody "eye doctor" telling me they removed the cherry - i cannot help but blame myself for all of it!! Insurance didn't cover any of it -and hubby yesterday counted how much we spend on a constant f%*k ups ....sadly i dont sleep on money and i cant wait to see the vet in monday!!!!

Pati, take a deep breath hun.
Don't assume it's a screw-up yet. She's had two eye surgeries less than two months apart. The Vet also left a piece of the gland and yes, that's going to be inflamed for a while. Give it a chance to heal. Three days is not much time.
