Hi guys ,i just now spoken with a head surgeon , they kept lily last for the op -as staff wanted to give her loads of cuddles lol !
lily is still under , they removed one gland ,the other one will be left for now as it looks like its 70% effective , surgeon said it looked like a gland but it wasn't it was her 3rd eyelid -and if she start digging there now to remove the cherry gland she could quite easily damage her eye and make her possibly blind
They also asked if they can snip a bit of her nostrils as one was more open than the other one .
Its 14:44 here we got to phone them in an hour!
Now im stressed -poor girl xxx
Thank you for all your lovely messages xxx

We are back! Better late than never :-)
I cant see much difference to the eye the dodgy one on the right since this morning -lily is wheezing but she don't feel any discomfort from what i noticed and so far no need for a cone for her to wear
Can someone who had their dog gland removed tell me how the eye should look like?(sorry but im a bit of a negative person as my luck stinks!)
We got next appointment on monday
Top picture from morning , bottom from 15 min ago (right eye had gland removed as this was the dodgy one)

Poor baby.. she looks so sad. Give her lots of treats, Pati!
I think it's too soon to tell. Give it a few days for the swelling to go down.
