Thank you all :,( the ortho cant get her in till next week so I HOPE that she will be ok till then.. They told me just to keep her on the previcox and tramadol until..

:( Hang in there...poor girl. On the bright side, her scooting around is a testament to a bulldog's resilience! They WILL find a way and are a very hearty lot when it comes to these things.

Im sorry to hear your bad news ,sadly i dont have any experience with hip displasia -my friend takes her dog to a dog pool as a part of aquatic therapy -her dog could walk but with great difficulty after a year of aqua therapy she improved .
I hope you get to the bottom of it and your fur baby get better soon xx sending hugs

I watched the video, and I'm no expert.......but hip dysplasia shouldn't make him drag like that. I had a Chow Chow with hip dysplasia about 10 years ago. He was lame on his rear end, but no dragging. I had surgery done for him where they actually removed the ball part of his leg that fits into the hip socket ( not sure of the technical terms). the surgery worked well and he recovered great. An ortho vet will know what to do. The dragging looks more neurological.

Is there any other Orthos that you can take her to? I'm so sorry this is going on with her, this video breaks my heart. She's a sweetie.

I just posted on other thread.... Have the ortho check her spine too, Banks has issue which causes her to drag her back legs at times, but we keep it under control with meds and laser therapy.

It seems to me like there is more going on with her than just hip displasia.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and advise. They did check her spine, and thought it could possibly be a degenerated disc or some sort of spinal disease, but her vet said that I have to wait till her blood work comes in so he knows to send her to an Ortho or a neurologist. but she only does it periodically not all the time. yesterday she didn't do it at all and was chasing her pug siblings around and having a good time. So, I don't know.. I received some good advise on my other post that maybe its a tail pocket or vulva issue causing her to scoot this way. They have me pinching her toes to make sure she isn't loosing feeling she reacts just fine... this morning she seemed a little laid back (not sitting on her back area just on her side and I noticed that when she was walking to come in she raised her to front paws up further than normal ... like extended / raised them out and she has never done that before so I put a call into her vet, waiting on a call from her now.
