Took her to specialist today who said her eyes are healing nicely however, she has some granulation - scarring ? I guess from accelerated healing, (they said something to that affect) from The cryosurgery, so we are keeping an eye on that as it is really irritating her right eye. Her right eye is still swollen. they also said she does have more little hairs in her right eye but they don't seem to be causing her grief. we are to keep an eye for squinting, blinking etc -signs that they need to be removed. We are to continue w the eye ointment plus a new eye drop in both eyes now for 2 weeks and are to bring her back in for hopefully her last recheck there 8/16. Thy want us to keep the cone on her for another week but we are going to see..if she rubs Then We'll put it in on, but otherwise I'm giving her a break from it. Her upper chest is a bit irritated as well from wetness festering w the cone but no yeast so I am to continue to keep it clean and use the medicated pads on it daily. Paws crossed all goes well for the next 2 weeks!

Here is her neck area. I know it is shadowy, but her neck is normally white.

Hi, glad Bries surgery is behind her and all went well. Wishing her a quick and easy recovery, and hope that everything continues to heal for her, and she has no more eye problems. Hugs, kisses, love, and prayers sent your way.

poor Brie. I was hoping for good news today and that the cone of shame could be put up for good. Hope she feels better soon. Keep your head up!

Thankfully she's healing! Is the scarring on the eye from the repairing of the ulcers or on the lid from the freezing of the lashes. Duchess will be going in at some point next month for the cryosurgery. I just have to clear my schedule. Good thing you got her to the specialist.
