Its been a few months since buddhas eye surgery on his right eye. its doing great he has a scar on his eye because of the graph but its great now. on friday i notice that he was squinting his left eye, and because we have experience eye ulcers before i called the eye vet. they told us to bring him on tuesday but i didnt want to wait so long. i took him to his regular vet and he gave him some ointments and eyedrops for ulcers. im not sure if to take him to the eye specialist anymore because my vet said it wasnt bad and because i caught it so soon he didnt need surgery. so im wondering if i should see how these ointments and eyedrops help him out, and avoid spending 500 just for a visit at the eye specialist so that they can tell me the same thing . hmm

any suggestions...

He sure is a cutie pie. If you trust your vet use your gut instinct. You know Budda best.

Buddha is beau-dha-ful! Love the pic of him in the glasses. I don't have an experiences with eye issues, so I just have nothing to offer...sorry!

Buddha is gorgeous, what a ham!

I would have the eye rechecked later this week to make sure it's healing before seeing the specialist, you already have the drops and ointment to care for it. You just want to make sure it's improving. Since you know the signs and caught it early its likely going to be okay. I would be more inclined to know what may have caused it, that is the only reason I could see to go to the specialist right now.

hey guys so i took him back today and they said to wait 2 weeks to see improvements. and i do not know the cause of his ulcersthis is the second. the vet told me that its caused with eye irritation he might have scratched it and that would have caused it but im not sure what is the exact cause
