We've been having some really NICE weather here in TN, so I've been leaving the window cracked in the bedroom. Last night I noticed someone sneezing... Mr. Winston, and he's had a clear runny nose. True Green just started coming at the house about 2 weeks ago, we were on vacation at the time and they were told to only use organic spray in the backyard. Is this the beginnings of an allergy? How in the world will I figure out what it is? I changed his food over a month ago to Fromm's puppy. He had hives one day before we left for vacation, but it has gone away since. I have NO idea where to start on this one... UGH!!!

You c an give him Benedryl at a rate of 1 capsule for every 25 pounds, twice a day for a little relief. Sounds like it may be allergy related.

No he hasn't been itching anything... just the sneezing. I talked to the Vet about the True Green stuff, and he said that he's never had a dog w/issues from it. Winston doesn't have hives or bumps or anything... I think it may just be this cooler air!!! So crazy...

The only way to figure it out at this point is via process of elimination. Welcome to EB World. LOL

If he's only sneezed one night I wouldn't go crazy yet. It may just be a summer cold!

He's been sneezing the last three nights, and he has a clear discharge coming out his nose. It's very clear, and honestly it's not that much at all... He's not congested or phlegmy.

I agree as well. Brie sneezes at night sometimes but not always n sprays her clear nose snot on me lol I asked the vet about it n he said it is prolly nothing as long as it was clear. but I could give her a Benadryl if I was very concerned. Maybe there is something in the air that is irritating them both at night?
If it is food..would she be sneezing during the day as well or can l. Reaction be delayed like in ppl?
