Im hoping she won't even require one. Her appt w the specialist is to tomorrow. The vet called in the referral for us since they were so booked up and cos he felt is was urgent, they are able to squeeze her in then. I'm so relieved.

Oh that's good, yes I agree this is urgent.

Me too. We took her to specialist this morning. They will do the cryothetspy today. They wanted to keep her over night to keep watch n then if all goes well I can get her tomorrow. She will have to wear the cone of shame for 10 days while her eyes heal. He is going to tack them temporarily as he has ulcers in both eyes from the hairs n it will help her eyes heal better. Then they will remove the stitches. My poor lil fathead!! But...I'm Hoping this will help her. Oh, he said her eyes look good (for now) as far as not having entropic issues. So please everyone, paws crossed she is and will be ok!

Aww paws crossed for Brie, you should ask the vet if you can use the soft cone, it's not as intrusive.

I will def ask for one of those. Is that what it is called..just a soft cone? She needs all the help she can get or we will end up having to sedate her w Benadryl or something during her recovery time. She is a bucking bronco w the cone
