I haven't, yet, but it is an excellent idea.
Molly broke out in a huge rash, an allergic one. She developed a skin infection too! The medicated shampoo I had to use left her skin stripped and dry. The vet said after we shampooed her to fill up the tub with some water and add some Nuetrogena bath oil to it, and dump the water over her several times so she absorbs the oils.
It is working great, and keeping her from itching her rashy skin. (He also prescribed her allergy medicine and antibiotics).
So, even if she had allergies or not, wouldn't this oil treatment help our bullies after a bath to help keep their coat soft and their skin not dried out? We live in Arizona, so I plan on giving all my girls an oil bath!
Does anyone else give their bullies oil baths?

I would be curious as to what kind of shampoo this was!! because I have used sulfer oxydex and malasab and they kill the bacteria and do not leave a dry skin>
I also believe that coating the pores of skin- and it would. would not be a good thing. they couldn't breath. I may be wrong but I will ask my vet and a dermatologist also.!
