Otis' eyes have been like this since I got him in February. I've been using ACV, penaten cream, and malacetic wipes, but they don't seem to get any better. Are they tear stains? Allergies? Is it something else? Any help would be appreciated.

have you tried giving him Benedryl... seems like the eye is wet ... could be from allergies. Benerdyl dosage is 1 mg per pound up to 3x day.

My vet said he could possibly have entropion, but I have to find a specialist to confirm it. Maybe I should make an appointment soon.

You already got great advice, I was going to say allergies too, Benadryl, will help. Also if you don't already do so, you can try giving him some plain unsweetened or plain Greek Yogurt in his kibble every morning, to boost his immunities, and also put apple cider vinegar in his drinking water everyday for the same reasons, it has a lot of health benefits.

It looks like a possible entropian eyelid. One of my dogs had to have that surgery- it wasn't bad!

Shahster- you should be able to tell if it's entropian! Does the eyelid look like it sort of rolls to where his fur is rubbing up against his eyeball? That was the case for my pit mix- poor baby was so uncomfortable. My regular vet diagnosed her and did the surgery....kept cost down from seeing a specialist.
