Help Needed! What is this?

Just found this by Bixby's butt. I thought it was just a little dry spot, but it turned into this. What is it and what can I do to help him? I hope the picture loads up...

The picture is so small it is hard to see.... but is it crusty/scab or moist?

Hard to tell from the small pic. Could be a hot spot.

It's definetley a staph infection. You need to dry it out fast before more appear. wash the area with a drying shampoo, dawn, or antibacterial soap and use a drying agent like alchohol or antiseptic wipe. Clearskin pimple cream might even work. Just get it dried up. More will appear. Lots of times they get away from you and then the vet is neccesary for a dose of antibiotics

Exactly what [MENTION=1714]Sherry[/MENTION] said do what she said n u should be golden she assisted me when porky got on (we did go for meds for my piece of mind) but she only ended up with 1 small spot thanks to the advice I got from everyone!!!!!
