    no not really. id be looking at the food if he is getting them often. sarahs was caused by her food as i think most are. id be looking at a new food. where is he getting them. sarah got hers on her side n neck. did u change food recently or treats or table food. something is different now.

    "knocking on wood" Forde hasn't had any hotspots.........do we know what causes these? So sorry Sarah had to go through this.....

    its usually food related from what i know about it. but i think sometimes its environmental. its bacterial in nature

    that's exactly where hers were.. She's been on Fromm Beef then, she got into my pugs dish (different food bc of is allergies ) about a month before they came no table food at all. She's been doing good here lately. Today is her 1st bday and I have her a special birthday cookie, so I hope its ok lol

    wow i had no idea how bad hotspots can be or how fast they could get out of hand! Looks like shes healing up nicely though. Thanks for the information. Hope Sarahs feeling good today!

    Does the hot spots sweats blood?. My bully has those. I apply a cream called dermacol I live in South America though. The vet here said is okay. .

    Are they three different spots? or a close up of one? The close up does not look like a hotspot... did the vet do a skin scrape of the area?

    I would ask your vet to do a skin scrape... it does not look like a hotspot unless it is near done healing
