My Lola was sick yesterday and today she has a bad runny nose it looks clear but is just oozing all over. I noticed this yeaterday morning and not today her eyes are running so I was wondering how much allergy medication to give her? She is around 25lbs. Thanks for the help want to give her some relief!

Half the adult Human dose. An adult takes 2 Benadryl tabs. Make sure it's Benadryl. They can't take everything but that is safe. If you give her a little too much, she'll just sleep. Notice I said a little. Oh you may need to change her food. what are you feeding her?

She is on Fromm puppy the pink bag. I gave her 2 tsp of it and in each tsp there is 12.5mg and I read its a mg per pound they are so if she is 25lbs that would be 25mg right?

She is still oozing all over and having a hard time breathing out her nose you can hear it. What causes this and should i call her vet or do dogs get viruses to?

I'd be doing a vet trip... any types of colds can turn in to problems fast for our bullies (respiratory issues etc)

If she has trouble breathing for any reason it's worth a trip to the vet. Keep us posted!

I would rather be safe then sorry, I would at least call my vet explain what is going on and if they say the benadryl should do the trick and just watch her for any changes I would go with that but if they said to bring her in I would make the vet trip.
