Hello all,

Ive noticed yesterday that my bulldogs paw is becoming red, so i washed it and put a bit hydrogine peroxide, but today morning it became ever more red. How am i supposed to treat it? Its not thaaat bad.

Thanks for your help.

Perhaps try an epsom salt soak. You can either fill a bowl with water and add some epsom salt and dip each paw in for a little while or fill the bath tub up just a bit and pour some in and let him/her stand in it (I usually do 5 min or so)...sometimes I dip my feet in too :shhhh:

I wouldn't recommend peroxide. Do you have anything else you could use if not the Epson salts? There a lot of diff. things people use here that help - check my paw licking thread too!

Do you know that is infected or that it's irritated? If it's might possibly get infected you may want to try some Neosporin. You can also try Vetericyn which works wonders (and its non-toxic). If it's irritated and itchy, like from stepping in something he's allergic to, maybe some hydrocortisone cream.
