Help Needed! First Heat Cycle

We adopted a 7 month year old girl named Lucy and the day we brought her home she started her heat cycle which was August 1, she bled for the first week then the second week there was no bleeding but this week she started bleeding again... is this normal? I am just really worried she might have pyometra... is this normal or should I be worried

Yes, the first heat cycle can be anything but normal. It can come and go for up to 3 weeks. After the 1st cycle it will become normal for her, but normal is different for each bitch.
