Other I cut the quick!!!

Aww don't feel bad, you didn't mean it. I also trim my guys nails, although I've also had them done at the groomers. I'm always nervous because Dozer has white nails on the front paws, but his back paws all have black nails. I always just trim the tips of his nails, I don't go very short. I have to do it more often, because they grow faster when not trimmed short, but I don't want to cut the quick.

I only do the tips too but she tried standing as I was clipping n almost her whole nail went thru :/ she has like maybe a 1/4 inch of nail left I really did a number!!!!! N of course it's beautiful out so we let her run around outside she came back in n there was blood everywhere again!!! Vet suggested soaking in peroxide so I did and it actually seemed to work very well!!!
