There are many different causes, food or allergies being the number one. What do you feed your bully?

USually tear stains are caused by allergies. What brand dog food is he eating? I would start with the food being the issue and then take it from there...I know a lot of bullies who had tear stains when they were on food that didnt work for them.

I second the dog food allergies. My bully's stains cleared up completely after switching to an allergy friendly diet. Now we just clean her folds once a day and she is good to go!

When I first got my Emma, she had tear stains. The vet gave me something with vinagar in it, and I used it once each day. Put it on and leave it on. After a couple of weeks, brown started coming off, and no more tear stains. I now just use either vinagar and water mixed, or perioxide and water mixed. Put it on once a day and leave it on. My Emma is on raw food diet also. The vinager or perioxide mixture is great for ears also. My vet said he has never seen cleaner ears and face as Emma.
PS: Vinager and peroxide are very inexpensive also.
