General Question Do I have a sick puppy??

Zeus has been throwing up a lot first thing in the morning and it has me a little worried! It is all flem but still! Should I make him a vet appt.?

If its before he is eating, try giving him a little food right before he goes to bed at night to see if that helps. Plus do you leave water for him 24/7? If not start leaving some water down for him too.

Agreed, it could be nausea due to an empty stomach.

My daughters Golden was doing this and vet also said empty tummy thingy! She gives him an unsalted rice cake now before bed..and totally stopped!

I came to say the same thing, you may need to give him a bedtime snack. Thor will puke in the morning if he doesn't get breakfast right away.

My Linus did this EVERY morning for awhile. I'd wake up to a spot of yellow phlegm in his cage. I recommend giving your bully a little snack before bed so his tummy doesn't get empty...it worked like a charm with Linus! Good luck and let us know how he does!

So, I have been giving Zeus about 1/4 cup food before bed and half a dent-a-stick and he was doing great with the throwing up but it has been coming up again lately. The past 2 nights he has gotten sick. I am wondering, could giving him a little water before bed help?? I usually cut his water off around 9-9:30 so that there are no accidents! Or should I just give him a little more food at night??
