First time with fleas ...help!

Just found several fleas on my bully! What should i do to get rid of them? We have carpet here at home...any products/medicine to give him that will get rid of these awful fleas? Thanks!

He may have just picked them up from outside, give him a bath with Dawn dish washing liquid and that will kill them. If you find more you may have to get an exterminator to spray your lawn and treat the house. If you are giving him Sentinel for heartworms it will make the fleas sterile so they can not reproduce, and you may not have to treat the house, but I would still treat the yard. Since our bullies are on Sentinel, we have never had a flea problem.

We use sentinel during the summer months too!! One of my biggest horrors is fleas!!
