    Intention is everything! As you are putting him in the car, driving there, etc. Think in your mind something positive! I guarantee he will pick up on that energy, Jenn! I PROMISE YOU.
    Here's some ideas for you;
    1) Oh Cutty! You Lucky Pup, we are going to a doggie resort and you are going to have an FABULOUS rest and rejuvenation treatment!
    2) Yay! We get to go visit Dr. Kneebone and you LOVE the nurses there and all the attention! You are getting a NEW KNEE! Better than any toy anywhere!
    3) Mama gets some one on one time to bond with Miila while you relax and enjoy the attention and rest and your brand new knee from the seasoned, trusted professionals!

    I know it's hard. I do. I really do. But Try though, ok? I'm telling you, it will make a difference. Positive intent is everything. Picture the perfect dr. visit while you are going there.....and then make it happen. You can do it!

    Thanks guys. We r here, just waiting a few minutes until the very is open. @Vicaroo1000 your positive attitude does help much. Although I might have a hard time, all I think is how I have never left him anywhere over night ever. But he will be better off when it is all said and done.

    Ok he came out fine and is waking up. His right knee looks and feels good so that is great news. Picking him up in the morning. I need a drink now. My gosh!

    Happy to hear round one went well... now, round two - recovery. We did turn one of our rooms into a big dog bed when Nitschke had his done. gated the doorway and had a futon mattress and pillows/blankets all over the floor -- we carried him up and down the stairs for potty breaks

    He is home and resting. Still nauseous so not in the happiest if places. When I laid next to him he smiled and breathed with his mouth open. Same with Sierra, made me feel better. Hopefully his tummy is better by med time.
