Noticed Einstein has a sore on his muzzle right where his right tooth rubs on his face. Tried to get a couple pictures. He was out in his pool over the weekend. I always dry his face off really well afterwards but not so sure how well my husband did while I was at work. What should I do? I don't want it to get any worse.

What great pictures.... so cute!! Is the sore dry or bleeding?

I'd put Neosporin on it --- I just don't think that it's gonna STAY there long ha ha ha! I'd keep a tube in my pocket and smear some on everytime I thought about it. Not enough to make him want to lick it off - but enough to do some good. Here, everything gets Neosporin first....then we worry about it.

Hopefully someone else will have more wisdom. Your pup is ADORABLE! What do you call him for short? You know, names are always shortened -- or lengthened. You wouldn't think that Bea could be altered in anyway but it has been. I always call her "Little Bea" -- even tho her name is Beatrice. It sounds like "LILBEE" when I say it out loud.

I'm certain I've seen those kind of bumps or sores before on one of my dogs. Yes, after washing and drying...Neosporin is the first thing I put on anything like that especially if it is just a single bump or two. All I know is they did go away. Funny thing is last year it was a lot of minor skin issues and this year it seems to be itchy, teary and red eyes on Wilson and Louie. :bang:

Ok we'll give Neosporin a shot. Thank you. I had a cat when I was little named Beatrice and we called her BB. Einstein has lots of nicknames but none of them make sense. I call him puppa and stinky. My dad called him Steiner but that's not really shorter ha. Your dogs are very cute!

Fontanafox thank you! I know my allergies are kicking my butt this year and they've never been this bad so hopefully that's all it is. I heard they are bad this year!
