My girlfriend and I just noticed that Tilda has a small white opaque spot just below her pupil on the left eye. Does anyone have any experience with cataracts in dogs. I tried to take a picture but it does not show up. She has a vet appointment in early march, should we wait until then? I've looked up a bunch of pictures of cataracts in dogs but don't see anything that matches.

Your help is appreciated, her health issues seem to be never ending.

Without a pic it is hard to say, but it could be dry eye. Call you vet office tell them what you see and determine fi he should go in sooner or if it can wait till the scheduled appointment

Could also be an abrasion from a possible flipped lid. I would take her to the vet and get it checked out.

Tilda was at the vet today and he thinks the opaque spot is just lipids which is a fat deposit. im glad it is not cataracts.
