So within the last few days she seems to becoming more confused and dazed. I'm am traveling on business but able to FaceTime with my family so I can see her and talk to her. She is getting up walking into corners and just standing there. She doesn't seem to be in pain but seems like she gets up to do something then forgets half way there. She still recognizes her name when called and comes to you. I'm heading home tonight so I am hoping it doesn't seem as bad as I am hearing.

So So sorry for all this to be happening. Love her as much as you can . Please keep us posted and we will be praying for you and sweet Jazmine

I am new to this forum, I have an 11 year old female with pretty much the same good health yours has had. I am presently dealing with an ulcer in her eye and have wondered if she also had a tumor in her brain. She constantly jerks her head to one side and clicks her teeth as if she were scratching something. Last night she started kind of running with her head cocked to the right (same side as ulcer in the eye) as if she thought something was chasing her. I am presently in Puerto Rico and there are no dog neurologists here.
I can understand your fear for your baby. I hope all goes well and she lasts a good long while.

ahh bless, its awful when this happens,i had a 4 yr old that the breeder wanted me to take in as she wasnt coming into season in kennels, she was the sweetest bully you could meet ,well she came into season and was mated ,after 5 weeks at the breeders and giving birth to 2 pups she came home ,she was as agressive as a dog can get ,not towards me but everyone else in the house but most of all the grandchildren,we only managed a month with her she sadly just got to dangerous, the breeder said it was a tumour but i thought she had turned alpha female ,anyway we had her put to sleep we had no choice,i feel for you we only had her 1 year but still very attached to her, karen

Wow, hearing all this makes me very sad, but i guess this is reality.

@mkiddo1016, please keep us informed w/how your girl's doing.

@sailnbyu , are there any vets in your area that you feel are pretty strong and knowledgable? You may not be able to see a specialist but there may be someone who has had experience with tumors and the like.

I wish you all the best.

She is hanging in there I have a VERY stubborn bull dog she is very determined to not be down too long..... I started feeding her chicken since she stop eating her normal food so she has a little bit more energy.... When I'm home she gets up a little more then during the day. I'm keep counting my blessing everyday that she is still here.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers but yesterday she got progressively worst so I had to make the decision to let her go. We called laps of love on a recommendation from a friend and they were wonderful!!! I did not have to transport her or anything she went peacefully in my arms at home just the way I wanted her to.

My family has already stated the next dog will be a bullie I can't imagine having any other breed... In the next few weeks we will be looking for breeders since I can't remember which one I purchase jazmine from in Miami .

Hi mkiddo1016,
my eight year old bully has also been diagnosed with a brain tumor. He had a broken tooth in January, which they removed and he has never been the same. His personality is very different from the sweet boy he was. First he had 2 seizures, so they put him on prednisone. He was crying in pain which we thought was a disk in his neck. He had four more seizures one day and went to the neurologist. He has weakness on his right side and vision loss in his right eye. He is having accidents everywhere and bumps into things. He is on prednisone and phenobarbitol and no longer in pain. He has a cancerous brain tumor and we will do everything to keep him comfortable and happy. Like Jazmine, he has been very happy and healthy and this hits us hard.
Best of luck with your bully....I will pray for happy days and comfort for you and Jazmine.
