Pretty much since we brought him home, Murphy has had really red bloodshot eyes. He is 1 1/2 now. He gets the eyes goop after sleeping. After reading, it sounds like dry eye.........any suggestions on things to do? Thanks

Take a look at the basics---his diet---what food are you feeding him? Make sure it's a high quality food b/c this definitely makes a difference and can be contributing to the eye goopyness. When I switched Tate and Finn to a grain free food, their eye discharge/goopys pretty much disappeared.

Food is a big contributor, get him off the grain and if you do not see an improvement.. may be good to get a blood allergy test done

It somewhat sounds like allergies? I agree with 2BullyMama, if a change in food doesn't get it cleared up, look into allergies.
