Hello everyone! I joined to seek answers for a friend who owns an EB about her dogā€™s facial wrinkle woes and I see this page is such a friendly wealth of info far beyond that and couldnā€™t resist! So here I am. I have two Frenchies CLU and TRIP Whom I show and love too obviously lol!
I also have, train, breed, handle and show American bullies and have been showing for around 10 years (5 in the abkc with bullies and before this I showed collies and Dobermans in the akc)

I have
a) a question. What are some natural wipe recipes for bulldog wrinkle care if there are any or how would you suggest I truly make it easy for my EB friend to create a routine for her dogs wrinkles? What should I suggest? She complains that they get goopy and she bought a balm (I am asking her tomorrow what her cleaning regimen is if she has one for the wrinkles at all!) and she complains the smell of the balm sends her pup into a ā€œheck no with thisā€ tizzy
So Iā€™ve compiled a list of products and screen shots Iā€™ve found in my 24 hours of hard hard internet scouring but I want to hear from real people!

Second I see many are like me and a huge essential oil fanatics. My mom is a certified aromatherapist who works for an acupuncture specialist/aromatherapist/Chinese herb Specialist/certified doctor. So I do understand the dangers and proper use of oils, so with that added I want to share my very very special and most asked for blend. I use oils for flea and ticks, allergies and skin care, minor wounds, Appetite stimulation, and more! But I have two blends that are the biggest with my show friends and they canā€™t get enough of it! I will not go without the CALM blend for boarders here, especially those with separation anxiety! I donā€™t travel without it either! I diffuse it in my hotel room for my frenchie clu who gets wound up in new hotels the first night. For show ring itā€™s again a must and works both effectively for humans dogs and even horses (all of my horses push their noses into my hands when I have it on them!)

Iā€™ve seen an anxious wolf hybrid go and sniff the steam from my diffuser and literally watched his back muscles relax before he did a circle and laid next to the diffuser (heā€™s our worst anxiety case ever for boarders! Or was)

Iā€™ve had a collie on the grooming table at Nationals and as I groomed her she turns her head awkwardly back towards my wrist, which has my diffuser bracelet on and tons of canine calm, she kept persistently and gently sniffing in a way that says ā€œI really like thisā€ then her handler and my friend (who didnā€™t know of our little bonding moment or my oils yet) came back to ask ā€œwho is this dog?!ā€ I panicked wondering if I made her off in the ring but she said the girlie never once has stood in the ring and usually belly crawls half of the time in there. instead, here at nationals (the biggest show of the year) She stood and gaited for the first time and the entire time in that big scary nationals ring!

My friendā€™s gelding horse is always sniffing the bottle when she gets it out for him, she said he follows her and sniffs it every time and wonā€™t stop!

Iā€™ve spent years giving samples to friends to gain feedback and I think Iā€™d like to share it here too since itā€™s done so much good for us all here So hoping it will do someone great things here too if they need it!
Iā€™ve used it topically (on my own neck and on my dog)
Iā€™ve used it with water to make an after bath rinse
In a diffuser
A spray spritzer Sprayed on a dogā€™s travel blanket
On Gemstone bracelets with lava stone diffuser beads (which I custom make btw)
And on my wrist with no bracelet too
On my custom clip on collar pendants (Iā€™ll even share how to make them!)

Collar pendants
Pick a pendant that will not open easily when the dog shakes or plays

And viola! Easy and cheap collar pendants you can even clip them onto the crate for dogs who arenā€™t bad at chewing things (like I do for my older frenchie clu whos never once been a chewing or destructive dog)
Put the oils on the lava stone and clip on to collar ring
If dog shows discomfort from the scent you use remove immediately obviously!
Do not leave a dog unattended with the pendant especially for dogs prone to trying to ingest it!
You can even skip the clasp clip and just do the keychain ring to make it less dangly, if that helps keep your pup from eating or playing with it!

Alright so here it isnā€™t

Hello there and welcome from Castor and Co.! We use chlorehexidine to clean skin folds (either diluted in a cotton pad or bought pads from Duoxo).
