Boo our 6 year old is drinking too much water, a little lethargic, and sleeping more than usual. He has been on allergy meds for 3 months Hydroxyzine, that I do not think is the problem! any advice out there???:

Hi, I would take him to the vet and have him checked out, maybe some blood tests? There are many causes for excessive thirst such as dehydration, liver problems, diabetes, kidney problems, Cushings Disease and many medications used for inflammation and allergies. Your vet will be better able to determine if there are any problems. I hope Boo is okay. Please keep us posted. Sending love, hugs and prayers. ❤️

I know some allergy meds will make our puppies sleepy and thirsty. But I agree with Vikinggirl... could be a symptom that should be addressed.

How is he doing today?

I agree with Monica... I would have a vet check up done.

Please keep us posted

I agree. It could be nothing but medication side effects, but it is worth checking out.
