Bent(3 yrs old English Bull) and I are from Western NY. The summer NY heat gets to Bent a lot, so he stays indoors unless the temp drops to 75. How do you even fare in Houston?

We're also looking for an alternative tail surgeon here in WNY as well aside from Cornell Animal Ortho.

Texas bulldogs stay inside all summer, only go potty then right back inside.
Some have private fans blowing on them in addition to A/C. Cami makes
monthly trips to her Vet for nail clips, the car gets cooled off before I load
her up. Even at 75*, if humid I err on safety's side, just too risky w/this breed.
