Hello from Tokyo

[Kucha]

Greetings from Tokyo.
I am reading the forum since Kucha our first dog joined to the family last December.
I have experience with dogs but Kucha is the first dog that is part of my family.

My son wanted to get a pug but while we were looking around, we have seen a bulldog puppy at a pet store, and that was it...
I started to look up bulldogs and have found this site and its wealth of information about bulldogs.

The firs thing I have learned is NOT to get our Dog from a pet store.
So we were looking and looking and finally found a reputable breeder and on December 18, Kucha joined to my family.
In three weeks she will be one year old and now over 20kg she is still the best little baby girl for my family.

Welcome ! ! oh how I miss Japan, and the people there ! I was through the mainland a few times while I was in the Navy, and talk about hospitality ! A buddy and I wanted to see the giant buddah, but we didnt read or speak Japanese (this was early 1980's) we got on the train, and we were hoping we were going in the right direction, we found someone on the train, who spoke 'A little english' who actually went out of their way, to escort us to the Giant Buddah !

Fond memories of a Beautiful Land, and of Friendly Pure Hearted people.

Oh and REALLY CUTE BULLDOGS it seems now ! LOL
