OK, finally getting some pics up.

Here is my old girl Bernadette as a puppy.
It was love at first sight for me.:havemyheart:

And now Charlene aka Charlie, aka C
:-)
She was a puppy mill breeder, rescued in June 2012.
She is making strides every day, but she still struggles as everything is new to her.
Never out of her cage, no human contact, no socialization with other dogs, no vet care, no love, etc...
But now she is safe, warm, fed, and loved.
I will win her over eventually, and only want her to have the life she always deserved.

Charlene, then known as "Jenny" at her foster, the day before I picked her up.
Very skinny, but a good diet, and lots of treats put about 10 good pounds on her since this pic was taken.

Charlie eating out of her cage on her own.
It took 4 months for her to work up the courage to come out of her cage on her own, and another
month to brave eating in her new favorite lounging spot.
It was a HUGE step for her.
I cried like a baby.

Video of Charlie being as brave as she could be at this point, taking her favorite treat, peanut butter, off my hand,
outside the safety of her cage.
