This may be the next move. I put her in the crate today for a hour and 15 minutes and all she did was bark her lungs out the whole hour 15 minutes. I am just leery of the pen as I don't want her going to the bathroom inside the pen as she really has potty outside part down pat.

I personally would try a pen leave her crate in the pen with the door open. Or have the door of the pen open into the crate. Like that puppy plays in pen n can go sleep in the crate. Just a thought

Well i guess you will have to make a decision what’s best. If she’s crate clean you might want to leave it like so. She probably barks cause she sees you guys walking around the house n she wants to be with you guys. Very normal...

After a week of feeding Mocha in the cage for all meals, I got this on Monday! Small step forward. Starting Monday after she goes out at 8PM she comes right in and goes in her crate and goes to sleep...well she starts there. She comes out eventually and sleeps all over kitchen. I crate her for the evening after I take her out at 11 pm. I stopped trying to crate for short periods during the day. She is confided to the kitchen and only having 1 or no accidents a day there. I am going to slowly work on the crating during the day but I am taking this one!
