Our 1 year old runs to the wood fence between our yard and neighbor's yard and sniffs and licks the fence repeatedly. When we let him out to take care of 'business', he runs straight for the fence. He usually let's us know when he needs to go out. He'll sit and whine at the door until we let him out and runs to the fence. If he does need to do something, he'll go to the fence first, business second and back to the fence. I know that there is a dog on the other side and I think it is a female. She's rarely outside when he goes out but may she's in heat or something??? Is there anything we can use on the fence and grass area? I've tried white vinegar, bitter apple spray and now I'm thinking about getting one of those Scarecrow Motion Activated Animal Repellent devices to scare him away from the area.
