Help Needed! Barking bulldog

This is bella she has been the best dog but recently has been barking in middle of night for what seems no reason (obviously there is a reason) and she apparently barked for nearly 2-3hrs last night while I was out and she has never done this before and as soon as I came home she stopped (neighbours told me)
Anyone got a clue why this is?

How old is she? Has her diet or anything else out of the normal changed recently?

Could be separation anxiety? is she getting enough exercise during the day --- take her for about a 30 minute walk before or after dinner to help get some energy out of her? Can you give us more details about her day/schedule and how old she is?
