Is all Bulldogs just like children?

Ok do I honestly have a child. Walter blows my mind... I am trying to lay down. He is right next to me by the bed. He is sitting up, breathing a little heavy which is normal..... I give it a few minutes and he doesn't stop. Ok he's prob having a little anxiety no big deal. So than and say Walter lay down boy. And he lays down, and gently rub his head and he slowly puts his head down and starts snoring, by that point I think I am in the clear to go back to bed, nope! He wakes up, sits up and does the same thing, so I do it all again....... And this time ease off slowly with precaution and this time he stayed snoring..... Is that funny or what?

Haha! Thanks guys! I'm new this! Just got my guy two weeks ago and am so in love. I have always wanted a bulldog and now I have one! I'm learning new things about him every day and researching like a maniac. This site is awesome! I'm sure I will become very close to you all! My google search is filed with bulldog this and that! He is great! Brought home to his Billie specialist and she said he is in great shape so that made my heart happy. Now we just have to get to know each other more even tho it seems like we already do. He is starting to try to test me a little. Bless his heart. I just love him

Its true they really are like children, they are funny, stubborn, droolers, needy, playful, sucky babies, snugglers, cute, and demanding and sensitive just like children, the only difference is they never grow up, they stay children, but they love unconditionally, and they are so worth it and more. I always say Sheldon is like a toddler. Old enough to know when he's doing wrong, as he gives me the look "mom are you going to tell me to stop". But also young enough and stubborn to not care.
