I took Bella to the vet on Saturday for her first check up. They wanted me to sign up for group training classes that start Monday (today). I thought about it, but decided that I think Bella is too young right now. She's only 9.5 weeks. Don't most puppy training classes require the pup be at least 12 weeks old?

I want to wait until she's a little older (like 12 weeks), so that we both get what we're supposed to get from the training.

What do you think?

Totally agree with 2BullyMama. Take no chances! I don't even think their attention span is long enough for classes anyway!

I agree w/the gang… wait till all vaccines are completed. I waited a little longer w/my bullies, they were at least 6 mos and they seemed to respond better to the training.
