dog gets snarley

My one year old English Bulldog Ziggy is very intolerant when we have to treat him for any reason. He had to go to the vet today because of loose stools and he just doesn' t take kindly to the vet looking him over. The vet, who we have used for years, said he is concerned when Ziggy gets older it will be impossible to treat him. I am unable to give ear drops or powder his sore hiney by myself.
Please help any sugestions will be appreciated.

You need to go back to basics with him... this technique will help get him in line and make sure ALL humans use it with him. He has to work for everything you do with him, teach him limits and you are the alpha. Use a spray bottle with water in it for correction with a firm NO and be CONSISTENT.

I agree, back go basics, maybe some hand feeding to make him respect you. Also, whenever I did something Ruckus didn't like such as cleaning his wrinkles or clipping his nails, I showered him with treats. Now he still clearly doesn't love it but tolerates it and then looks at me like "hey ma, I was good, now give me the beef lung!"
