Good morning! Thanks for all the posts on my previous thread about puppy biting. bulldogs4me, thanks for the article! It was very helpful! As you know we have tried everything to discourage, or snap Bogey out of his "I am going to bite your feet no matter what" mode. Quite by accident, yesterday we were outside and Bogey got in his biting mode. Ed (my hubby) was sitting in his chair and Bogey would NOT leave his feet alone-until Ed tried a VERY DEEP LOUD BARK! I never saw Bogey react so quick. He immediately released, ears went back and he sat very low, almost cowering at Ed's feet. He became very complacent! So, we tried it again when we needed it , and he had the same reaction! The next time he went to Ed's feet, it was to gently lick his leg, which we praised him to no end! So, fingers crossed, we are hoping we found the much needed correction! I'll keep you posted! Oh and the best thing is that Bogey has NO IDEA where the bark is coming from! Ed is very tall, and of course our little guy is very close to the ground, so I think this is the greatest! We'll see!!!
