Meilyr has gone through 3 leashes. He bites at them. Anyone had this experience or have bought a strong leash? He has chew toys so he's not bored. Thanks.

Yeah he can. He jumps up and bites at his leash on our walks. We have a chain leash but he ate the handle.

In that case, I wouldn't focus on getting a stronger leash I would focus on getting him to walk correctly next to you without jumping up at all. There are several different ways of training to walk on leash. I have to say that I've never had to use any of them so can't recommend one way over another, but I'm sure somebody will come along who has had to deal with the same problem.

All I can suggest is to also look and see if there are some basic obedience classes run near where you live. That should cover walking on a leash!!
