Hi, y’all! My name is Delilah and my brother, Diesel and I joined rescue today. We really are brother and sister. We have the same mommy and daddy, but were from different litters. I am only 4 years old and much daintier than my big goofball brother.

We have always been loved and cherished by our family. But some things have happened and because of some family issues outside anyone’s control our parents have not had the time or attention for focus on us like they once did. They know we need more and were willing to sacrifice their love for us so we could be in the right place and get all the love and attention they have always provided.

A few months ago my vet discovered I had heartworms. So they gave me two painful shots and made me rest for a whole month while all those nasty buggers died off. Now I am just as fit as can be. The rest gave me more time to work on my feminine charms and my beauty routine. Don’t you think it paid off? I am ready to begin my new glamorous life with you.

5/29/18 Update: Delilah is quite the social butterfly! At the Pet Expo, she wanted to greet everybody and has never met a stranger! She was well-behaved around kiddos and other dogs. She loves belly rubs and wants your full attention throughout the day. This little girl smiles all day, follows us around the house wherever we go, and gets along really well with our two bulldogs. Our female is often moody, but she has thoroughly enjoyed having Delilah around the home! We have tried playing with toys, but she hasn’t seemed interested in them yet. She is great on a leash and loves her morning walks when the weather is cooler. She has her own bed, but we often find her cuddled up with her big brother, Diesel. She seems very dependent on him, but he seems more independent. Delilah was a little hesitant about our staircase, but with patience and encouragement, she has mastered the stairs and is confident going up and down by herself. She is housebroken, doesn’t chew, knows basic commands and is an overall little doll!

6/27/18 Update: Diesel Day Lewis & Delilah checking in! While we are loving our foster fam, we are crossing our paws our forever family is filling out an application RIGHT NOW! We have SO many butt wiggles and love to give our forever family, we can hardly contain our excitement! We are the perfect dynamic duo, and we have DOUBLE the love to share! Our foster fam says we are a “twofer” because we are a 2-for-1 package! We are complete opposites, but our personalities are the perfect combo! We do great in our kennels, our “dog room”, on the couch, or on the bed. We will sleep and hangout wherever is best for you! Our foster family gives many sleeping options to see what is most comfortable for us, and we love all of them!

As for me, Miss Delilah, I will be your best friend, your ride-or-die, and your little shadow following you all around the house! I ALWAYS have a smile on my face and a pep in my step! I would thrive in a family who loves going on morning/evening walks and gives endless tummy tickles. Because I’m gentle, loyal, playful and loving, having some kiddos around the house would be a dream, too! I just want to be next to you, and I will always be the first one to excitedly greet you at the door when you come home! My foster sister tries to push my buttons sometimes, but I’m more mature than she is, so I turn the other cheek and walk away with a smile on my face when she’s moody! I’ll get an occasional dirty look from her, and I’ll slap a wet kiss on her face or paw at her head to cheer her up! I’m a lover, not a fighter!

We cannot wait to meet our forever family!! We deserve so much love, and we will fill your heart with joy!
