I spent the weekend freaking out over (my dog) Kevin's leg. As he gets into his golden years i know at some point his body will give out before his spirit. Last week he started limping more than normal... and by the weekend he would hardly walk.
I spent all last night awake worried what...
Hi,
I'm so curious what everybully else does! Meaty is 12 and 1/2 now,
and in the PAST--- it took vet, staff member, AND hubby to get the
nails trimmed.
But he recently snapped at a vet tech just
for something simple, so I think the ONLY way they'll attempt a nail
trim is sedation---NO way...
I'm curious how many here have experienced this? We have seen
a few different vets for different reasons, plus--with fostering, we
had to go to specific vets that we didn't choose.
Everybully here knows how *a LOT* of the general
public get sooo excited and happy when they see a bulldog.
It...
Sorry for being MIA. We have been going through a lot physically and mentally.
Bentley as you know from an earlier post has round cell lymphoma. The weekend after the aforementioned post, Bentley developed more nodules all over his body. We took him to the vet and bluntly stated, "he has...
Hi everybully!
Our precious ten-year-old was recently diagnosed with collapsed trachea and
bronchiectasis. Our vets are pawsome, and we trust them implicitly; HOWEVER,
it is always nice to hear peoples' personal stories! I'd reallllly appreciate any
info, tips, what worked, what didn't. How...
Hello all!
So Moose is almost 4 years old and almost all of his life he has been on N&D Cod Grain Free. We've switched up the protein, but anytime we've done so he has had either upset stomach or his eyes start bothering him. So we stuck with what works.
Lately, he has started to throw up, and...
My little English bully has been suffering with a respiratory infection for approximately 5 weeks now, the first course of antibiotics had worked wonders, she was still a bit noisy so the vet gave an extra week of antibiotics. After that week she was seen by another vet in the same practice and...
My boy Pabllo needed exactly 10 seconds to make a ripe trough a sock and reach the 2 litres water bottle & make the hole in the picture. I only took my eyes off him for 10 seconds to reply to a text message and i have put a sock on top of the bottle for safety measurements ( i tought i was that...
Hello everyone,
I noticed a pink, oddly symmetrical lump on the top of Chesters (4 years old) palate the other day, Iāve attached a picture below. I had never seen anything like it, and my breeder hadnāt either. Going back to my pictures and videos, Iāve noticed you can make it out since...
Today is a very hard day.
Angus is my last surviving family dog. He turns 11 on Saturday.
We took him to the vet after I noticed an enlargement of his belly and a lack of luster of his fur. He is still the same happy Angus albeit he tires so much quicker. But then he is an old dog now.
The...
hey everyone! im new here and have been loving reading all the advice but one problem i keep having is that many of the recommended products, especially food, isnt available in the uk. Lenny is only 14 months and had to have surgery for bladder stones last month :( the vet suggested purina HA...

Hello bulldog lovers! I have a puppy 7 months old. She has REALLY bad tear stains and I need help figuring out what to do. She had a little staining when we got her at 8 weeks. At that time she was on Fromm Puppy food. The breeder suggested switching to Victor Performance food as that is what...

Have a 6 month English Bulldog and recently started getting 3 bald spots. One in his neck and 2 on his body. They are very small but nothing I've seen before. Wondering if y'all know what it could be. Has me alittle worried. Idk if it a food reaction but berly came up and has been eating Acana...
This was just posted on my local bulldog group FB page here in Houston so I am posting it here as a warning to us all. So very sad.
Everyone, please be careful this summer, it will be very hot.
A week ago, my husband and I went out for a walk with our English Bulldog. It was about 8 PM and it...
Herschel is 8. We have always fed him kibble
With no issues. In the past year he has began to have bouts with either choking, seizures or something else while eating. At first i thought seizure for sure. Then I noticed this always happens when he's eating or just finished eating so I thought...
Hello! Just joined- 1st post.
My 7 mo old OEB is experiencing her 1st heat. Her vulva is very swollen. Is that normal? I also have a 3 yr old male (intact) that believe Lizzy needs help keeping it clean. Iām guessing his (help) may be contributing to the swelling. Iām scheduling an appointment...
Hello my fellow EBD lovers. Recently brought home my new baby boy Nugget. Slowly weened him off food Breeder was feeding him (Victor) to Hills Science Diet chicken and brown rice flavored because my vet recommended. He keeps having wet poos. Kind of like soft serve ice cream. No other symptoms...
Otis has been lethargic the past few days which I have been attributing to allergies. However I noticed swelling under his jaw. If he were human I would say it looked a little like a goiter only higher up, his collar would fit right under it. . It goes the width of the neck, is soft and flexible...
