    Newbie needing advice or reassurance.

Hello to everyone Iā€™m Kelly and the very proud owner of Duchess, a 6 year old (although you would never think it) rescue bulldog. We have had her a month now and sheā€™s just great. She has a good background but was handed in as her owner was taken into hospital and no one else could have her...

    Surgery Time

Well..... Harlea Bug is at it again. We noticed her squinting a bit out of the blue a few days ago so we got her in to the vet this morning and low and behold she has Distichiasis. The earliest appointment we could get her with the specialist for the surgical consult is next Monday, but in the...

Someone got their distichia de-stichified this morning...

MINI's eyes are a little swollen but otherwise she's doing just fine. In other news, I have the same thing(several lashes on both eyes) and will soon be getting mine corrected. Not really looking forward to it.

So MINI has distichia. It's not often talked about here...

so I'll do my best to keep ya'll well-informed on how things go. We've always noticed her squinting her eyes a little but never thought much about it. We were told a couple years ago that she might have some entropion going on but at present, that's been ruled out as a cause of her current...

    It's getting worse... Ugh!

Taking Wally in today, my vet finally has her mobile unit and her meds. We were out of town this weekend, and my pet sitter told me that Wallygator didn't even play w/Choco his best friend. He just watched Willow play w/him and just laid around... Yesterday he snapped at Lily... she sat on...

Yeast Infections and a new vet

Porkchop has been battling interdigital cysts since last Thanksgiving. Three rounds of antibiotics, daily epsom salt soaks, and other topical sprays but they came back immediately, sometimes bleeding and obviously painful as he licked his paws so often. Two weeks ago we were wandering a garden...

General Question Why does he snap like this?

This morning was like any other morning where I prepped breakfast for the boys. Tate is still eating his breakfast, well out of the way of the passageway for...

Entropion in a 3 year old???

Hi, I took George to the vets as I noticed slight hazing in both eyes. The vet said that his eyelids were rolled and causing corneal abrasions. I mentioned in passing that his eye lids drooped down and that I didn't expect that. She agreed looked unsure and checked again. She said that there...

    Walter's impending surgery...

Walter had another eye checkup todayā€¦ the eye ulcer is slowly healing. We will continue the eye ointment until he has his inner lashes removed. Here we go AGAINā€¦ Wally has an eye ulcer!!!

Well as soon as we picked up Wally from the dog sitter she told us he has a small eye ulcer, she noticed it yesterdayā€¦ so I guess I will be off to the vets this afternoon. His nails are pretty long, and he was playing a LOT w/two other dogs so I'm not sure if it was caused by his lashes or just...
