We advise members to look at Dog Food Reviews and Ratings | Dog Food Advisor ? Dog Food Reviews and Ratings They rate foods, and depending on your budget they list the best high quality grain-free kibble... I feed my dogs Fromm's, but other great brands are Orijen, Acana, Earthborn Holistic, and raw...

I feed my dogs Zignature. They have several protein varieties and the food is good for dogs with allergies as it does not contain any of the common allergens.

Great brands mentioned. You can also try The Honest Kitchen or Grandma Lucy's which is a dehydrated raw and you just add water.

I used to feed Orijen to my boy but he always inhaled his kibble and it made me nervous. I heard great things about Honest Kitchen, so I switched him over to that for about a year now, and he absolutely loves it. Since it's of a porridge consistency, I don't have to worry about him inhaling his food anymore!

gang gave you a great list to start with.... best to go with one protein to start off to give a better shot of knowing what works and what doesn't
