    Re: Need Gardening HELP Please

Good idea. Looks like a traditional root cellar but with a roof letting light in! I'm actually considering setting up a small-scale hydroponic system to grow lettuce and fresh herbs indoors. I got a...

    Re: DIY Christmas Gifts STARTED.....YIPPIE

Ah, boot cuffs , that's a good idea! I have never done anything in this colour before but they are for my sister-in-law and she likes purples so hopefully, she'll like them. The only problem is that...

    Re: DIY Christmas Gifts STARTED.....YIPPIE

I've seen those round looms but haven't tried them, and I had to google hand knitting - do you mean knitting with your hands, without needles? I've never done that! I will dig out soem knitting...

    Re: DIY Christmas Gifts STARTED.....YIPPIE

Please share pictures of that too! Now that the tomato/garden season is over I need to find time for knitting, sewing and crocheting! I really enjoy doing things like that but work so easily takes...

    Oh, how wonderful! Very inspiring!

The pic to the left, is that a knitted blanket? Looks like a lovely chunky yarn!
  8. Re: Paw moisturizer for Bulldogs like balm or others , recommendations

Yes, that's right! I give Castor a teaspoon a day on his food. It moisturises him from the inside so no need to put anything directly on his paws.

Re: 5 mo puppy suddenly poops at night

I don't think co-sleeping can be a bad thing as long as all parties involved like it!

    Re: Cheli cut his cornea

Poor Cheli - we send our best wishes. Been there, done that, Castor says (although he refused to use the cone). Great that Cheli can sleep in your arms - that's probably the best treatment. As far as...
  14. Re: Paw moisturizer for Bulldogs like balm or others , recommendations

Isn't it a bit tricky to put something on the paws (the pad, that is) as it will end up on the floor or the dog will lick it off? I would consider some oil or something that will moisturise the dog...
  15. Help Needed! Re: My Bulldog keeps getting hives then her face swells. PLEASE HELP

I don't know much about those medicines but Apoquel is pretty strong stuff, is it not? To me it seems very odd that a vet gives meds without knowing what causes the allergic reaction. Is this a vet...

She looks a lot like her dad! Castor says he can relate - he too looks much like his dad.
  18. Help Needed! Re: My Bulldog keeps getting hives then her face swells. PLEASE HELP

Poor Lexi. Can it be the peas in the biscuits? Dogs can be allergic to peas.

Poor Nala! Castor broke out into hives like that once when we took him to the beach (it was his birthday too, so a miserable way to celebrate). It probably was some kind of sand flies, so I was...

What kind of wagon is that - is it a pram for children or a special dog cart? Looks interesting.

Re: Headed to work with Mommy

I'm sure it's good for her too to come with you to work when she's so small. They really are babies and just like babies they need to be socialised and to be close to their humans!
