General Question Re: Vasectomy vs neutering

Sounds like you've made the best decision.
Our decision to go for neutering really was based on his awful, dominant behaviour but even then we knew it might not help. Luckily it did!!

    Whether to...

Re: Hyperkeratosis of the paw pads

    Thanks for the advice!!
I'm just a bit unsure on getting sharp scissors near him. If he decides he's not gonna play ball, or freaks out then I don't want him ending up getting hurt.
    But I also...

General Question Re: Vasectomy vs neutering

Whether neutering will help really depends on the reason for the humping.
Reggie used to do it all the time, mostly due to his dominance issues. Since he was neutered he hardly ever humps. But...

    Hyperkeratosis of the paw pads

    Hi all,

Hoping for some advice on how to deal with this.
I'm 100% sure that Reggie has hyperkeratosis on his paw pads - his feet look exactly like the pictures I've found online.
    Now, I've read...

  13. Re: Reggie ate something he shouldn't have.....AGAIN!!

He vomited again this morning :( Same as yesterday, only once and he seems ok. He had already eaten all of it by the time I got in there, so I don't know if any pieces of anything were in there.

Help Needed! Re: Puppy has vomiting and diarrhea

You can also give scrambled egg & rice as a bland diet. Full of protein & very easy to digest.
Let us know how it goes at the vet, but very glad he's holding his water down!

    Hopefully the...

Re: Desperate for Advice on My Bulldog--

Poor Princess - please update us on her condition when you can.

When I got up this morning he had vomited in his crate, and was in the process of eating it...ewwww.

  17. Re: Reggie ate something he shouldn't have.....AGAIN!!

So far so good! Pretty sure its all come out.
Poops are getting softer though, but I think its unrelated - I think we have to get him tested for campylobacter again :(
  18. Re: Reggie ate something he shouldn't have.....AGAIN!!

He's like the Dennis the Menace of bulldogs lol x
  19. Re: Reggie ate something he shouldn't have.....AGAIN!!

Manydogs Yes, he's better! Not 100%, he still has his moments but then he still has testosterone for a little while yet.
He still hates being told off, and he was quite snappy when his eye was bad,...
  20. Re: Reggie ate something he shouldn't have.....AGAIN!!

Still no sign of the zip yet, but we had another green poop this afternoon.
