I'm getting too old to carry these dogs- I think next time I get a dog it'll be the closest thing to a bulldog- a pug.

Help Needed! Re: Grumpy getting out of the car

I find it easier to take my dog in and out of car by lifting her by the loop on her harness. She's a Frenchie though, only 30 pounds.

Help Needed! Re: Grumpy getting out of the car

^ Agree with above. Try taking him more often so its not as big a deal for him when he does go.
  4. Re: What shampoo can I use that will reduce her shedding

Agree with above. The best chance you have of reducing shedding is to switch Cookie to a frozen raw diet and add oils such as hemp seed oil and fish oil to diet. Worked for my dog- she sheds a lot...
  5. Re: Paw moisturizer for Bulldogs like balm or others , recommendations

Isn't nutrolin taken internally? It's not available in Canada. I give my dog something similar- hemp seed oil, flax seed oil, and fish oil all separately.
  6. Re: Paw moisturizer for Bulldogs like balm or others , recommendations

The only difference is that the new one also has paraffin= candle wax. Wouldn't you say that's a good thing for paws ? I'm not sure what the impact would be for hot spots... Probably be a bit too...
  7. Re: Paw moisturizer for Bulldogs like balm or others , recommendations

You won't be able to duplicate bag balm unless you have access to hydroxyquinoline.

    Re: New Owner

Assuming he continues to not have any allergies ( they usually don't start until about 4 months ) then Fromm Heartland Gold Grain Free Puppy is a great one to start with.

  11. Help Needed! Re: My Bulldog keeps getting hives then her face swells. PLEASE HELP

I agree with everything posted before. I would say Lexi is a highly allergic dog and it could either be something in the food, something in that room, or something outside. I would put her on frozen...

I like iguanas, so I found it a bit cruel. But I like the way the iguana was on top of him at the end.

Re: Where to buy hemp oil?

The store I quoted on post 8 is less expensive, has 3rd party lab testing for potency and purity, and is made from non-GMO industrial hemp grown with natural farming practices in the USA. I don't see...

Help Needed! Re: ON GOING STAPH SKIN PROBLEM

Great news ! If your raw food isn't complete with extra ingredients, ie. if it just has meat, bone and organs, then it's a good idea to also add sea kelp, and hemp seed oil ( or flax seed oil when you...

Hopefully if the apple cider vinegar is not exposed to fruit flies at all then you won't get eels.

There's no need for humans to drink apple cider vinegar to "alkalinize" the body, although it...

These roundworms cluster together so they are visible as worms, and they thrive on vinegar. But they are harmless, and pass right through you.

I love his bulldog glare ! If the diarrhea continues, even if he doesn't show any parasites it's still worth doing the febendazole since the tests can sometimes falsely show negative for giardia.
