Default Need help with my new puppy on feeding

Hello I got Dozer on Sunday and I have been feeding him Legacy Turkey Dinner. Each patty is 227g so 8 Oz. I give him a patty a day half in morning and half at 4 pm. So I think it is not enough or enough. I don't want him to starve and my vet is so against raw food so he is no help. So if someone could help me if I am giving him enough or need to give more I also grate a baby carrot in each feeding thank you. I also put a pic up of him now.

How old is he? I am not a raw feeder but mine was fed 3 times a day until 6 months of age. It is recommended for young puppies.

According to this you feed 5% of adult body weight. So if his parents were around 50lbs you feed 40oz. Unless I read that or did my math wrong.
