I've heard that this is nonsense and I believe that pets can't get covid. To be honest, I'm tired of the news about covid, the restrictions and I really want to be able to travel without covid tests and masks, because it makes it hard for me to breathe. And I don't like that they violate my rights by not allowing me to breathe fresh air in the park. If we talk about cats, my cat has never been sick, but recently she brought fleas and I don't even know where they came from. I just found a cat flea collar buying guide on catademy.com and I hope that it is a safe and effective remedy that will help the cat get rid of fleas. But I can say for sure that my cat cannot get infected with covid, besides, I spoke with a vet on this topic and I trust the opinion of a specialist.

I cannot access the facebook link at the top of this thread, so perhaps I'm commenting on something else than what you mean, but it has been established that animals can get covid. Gorillas as well as large cats (tigers, for instance) have been diagnosed at several zoos and in several countries minks (in mink farms) have got covid virus infections. There is info on this at eg

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/pets.html
