Meet Hope

This is Hope. She is a Mini Rex and is the 2nd of 3 additions to my daughters show rabbit herd for next year. Bunker was the first. She is a beautiful 9 month doe that already has her Grand Champion and just won another leg last weekend at the Rodeo for best fur in class before we picked her up. We are so excited to have this addition and can't wait to see what future shows bring.

As for the final piece that hasn't been decided yet as my daughter is torn between getting a Flemish Giant and. Hot Tot so we will see.

It was and wasn't to me at first as well. My daughter is in FFA (Future Farmers of America) at school and many of their projects revolve around raising various types of livestock/animals ranging from chickens, turkeys, steers, heifers, pigs, goats and lambs from shortly after birth up to eventual sale/auction for grades, various degrees and shows. It has been a lot of fun learning as much as I could the past year with her other rabbits. It is a lot like showing dogs.

Sounds like a great club to be a part of. I think it would help a lot of kids appreciate nature and animals more than they do now. It sounds like a good way to teach responsibility while having fun. We do not have anything like that here.

Thanks. She is a beauty. Her fur is softer than a cotton ball and she is a lover to boot so we will see how things go. Another diva like Harlea that has to have specific food and filtered water. lol
