| Fergie was welcomed into the rescue as an owner surrender on October 25, 2013. She was kept as an outside dog in a pen her whole life, and consequently came in with untreated eye issues, fly strike, and heartworms. She is adjusting to indoor life, potty training, and slow socialization with other dogs. She had HW treatment and recently had surgery for spay and entropion.
