Please meet Piper! She is a 43 pound fawn English bulldog, who is estimated to be 3-4 years old. This beautiful girl came to us from a shelter after a breeder surrendered her there. Piper came to BBR and we got all her medical care taken care of, including a tail amputation. She is now looking for her furever home!

Piper is a really sweet girl! She absolutely loves attention, and will lay on the couch with you for hours. She loves going for walks and is working on walking nicely on a leash, and learning a few basic commands. Piper loves her crate, so her fosters keep the door open for her all the time. If she ever wants to sleep or needs to feel safe, she will go into her crate. Piper likes the car, but loves the front seat! She is great with kids of all ages and loves the attention.

Piper has difficulty going up and down too many stairs, so she would do best in a home with little to no stairs. She does enjoy walks, but they need to be kept short - she tires very quickly, and after about 15 minutes she needs to stop. Piper does well with other dogs, but sometimes tries to establish her dominance. If she is adopted to a home with dogs, she will need to be slowly introduced to them. She has shown no food or object aggression, and she shares well with other dogs. Piper also does well with cats.

Piper is an absolutely sweetheart, with a face that melts your heart. She is neutered, up to date on shots, and about 90% housetrained. Since she was raised in a cage, she came completely un-housetrained… she just needs a little bit of help to get there 100%. Her fosters have made excellent progress with her so far. Please consider opening up your heart and giving Piper her loving furever home!
