Please meet Fergie! She is an adorable white and tan English bulldog, who is a bit on the smaller side at 33 pounds. She is such a cutie pie, and her little tongue is always sticking out. Fergie came into our care after being dropped at a shelter by a former breeder going out of business. Before coming to BBR, she knew no other life than living in a cage and having puppies.
Since being in her foster home, Fergie has really come out of her shell, and is an absolute sweetheart! Fergie loves her toys, especially her purple ball! She loves to chase it and push it all over the house. She is a sweet little girl who loves to cuddle and constant attention. She REALLY loves her humans, but does not seem to like other animals very much. She gets very jealous of the other dog in the home when he gets attention, so she will need to go to a home with no other dogs. Fergie is also not a fan of cats, so no cats in her adoptive home either.
Fergie is an excellent eater, which is good because she needs to put on some weight. Since Fergie came to us from a shelter, she will need to go to home with children 8 years old and older. Fergie does like her crate and is crate trained; she does like the safety and security of being in her crate.
Overall, Fergie is a healthy girl who is spayed and up to date on shots.Please consider opening up your heart and giving Fergie her loving furever home!
December 28 update: Fergie is settling in nicely to her foster home. She is a sweet little girl, who loves to cuddle and loves constant attention. She has the cutest little freckles on her ears. She has moderate energy and does not run away. This little girl loves to please and loves all her foster family members. She doesn't mind being in her crate, but has not been around other dogs so she has to gradually get used to her foster brother.
Fergie is a good eater which is good because she needs to gain some weight. She is very little and only weighs 33 pounds. Fergie is a favorite at the vet's office and everyone who meets her falls in love with her. She likes to nuzzle your legs to remind you she needs a pat on the head or a hug.
December 16 update: Poor Fergie is pretty sick.... she has been staying with our vet and has been all checked out. She has a cough and nasal discharge, on which they are running tests to find out the cause. Fergie also has a heart murmur - a grade 3 out of 6. She also has luaxating patella in her left knee. Fergie will need spayed and likely have entropian done.
