Please meet Tula! She is a super cute 57 pound brindle and white English bulldog. Tula came to BBR after she was given up by a breeder and left at a shelter. As a result of this, she has had very little training and probably spent most of her time in a crate. Tula is kind of like a 4-6 year old puppy; she is very happy to meet new people and have new experiences.
Tula is a pretty laid back bulldog; she loves cuddling and sleeping with you. Tula is learning what is/is not a toy, so she will pick things up until you correct her. Tula is very curious about everything and likes to be right at your feet and follow you wherever you go. She is working on potty training, but she does not enjoy going outside when it's raining. She will need someone who is patient and can continue to work with her on the potty training. Tula does great in her crate! She gets along really well with dogs, but a slow introduction works best, and is necessary. Tula loves to play tug of war and will push a ball around and play by herself as well. Tula is very loving and can get to the point where she will try giving you kisses even when you've had enough. She also loves to go on car rides and is really good with walking on a leash. Tula gets tired pretty quickly, but a short nap and she is ready to go again!
Since Tula came to us from a shelter, and we don’t know a lot about her background, she will need to go to a home with children 8 years and older.
Tula is spayed and up to date on shots. She is a great dog, who does not have any health issues. Please consider opening up your heart and giving Tula her loving furever home!
